The Rest (Czech Republic)
The Czech band „The Rest” was founded in 2003. Already February 2004 they had their first concert in their hometown Brünn. In 2005 they released their first CD “Forever friends”, in 2006 “Všechno je možné – Everything is possible” and in 2008 “Rádo se stalo – My pleasure”. Members of the band are Zdeněk Strmiska (born 1987) – vocals, guitar; Libor Kovačka (born 1989) – bass; David Müller (born 1985) – drums, vocals.
The band till now had concerts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The music and the lyrics (by Zdeněk Strmiska) are self-composed. His lyrics are in Czech language and are about love, woe and the basic questions of mankind.
